Janeyra Maldonado is a first-year student at the University of Pittsburgh double majoring in Neuroscience and Psychology on the pre-med track. Raised in Westchester, New York, she is interested in the intersection of psychological processes and neuroscience in adolescent development. As a first-generation college student, she is passionate about serving underserved communities, particularly Hispanic communities, and improving access to healthcare.
